Ecologic® PANDA

Reduces the risk of development of allergy and eczema

During pregnancy the development of the intestinal flora in the baby already starts. Passing on the good bacteria to the intestinal flora of your baby reduces the risk that your child develops allergy or eczema. (1)

The Wilhelmina Kinderziekenhuis and the University Medical Centre in Utrecht started in 2005 the PANDA study (Probiotics AND Allergy). The researchers selected three probiotic strains which are able to balance the microbiota and thereby direct the immune system to a less allergenic response.

The build up of the intestinal flora of the baby takes place during pregnancy and is developed in the months after that. It is therefore good to influence the intestinal flora at a very young age with beneficial bacteria. A good intestinal flora support the development of the immune system of your baby and reduces the risk that your child develops allergy or eczema. Ecologic® PANDA was specifically developed for this. (2)

Ecologic PANDA contains:

• Bifidobacterium bifidum
• Bifidobacterium lactis
• Lactococcus lactis
