Is Ecologic® FEMI safe?
Yes, Ecologic FEMI is safe to use. The bacteria used in Ecologic® FEMI are identical to the bacteria that normally exist in the vagina. The selection of strains, used in Ecologic FEMI was based on efficacy and safety. The assessment for the CE marking is specifically given to the efficacy and safety of the product.

How does Ecologic® FEMI work?

These bacteria are carefully selected for their ability to kill or inhibit bad bacteria (pathogens) and fungi (like Candida) in a natural way. Moreover, the bacteria in Ecologic® FEMI can create an environment where pathogens will not survive. So it prevents the recurrence of vaginal infections.

No, Ecologic® FEMI can be stored at room temperature. Dry storage is important.

Is Ecologic FEMI scientifically researched?
Ecologic® FEMI is based on scientific research of many years. In the past 20 years the interest for the natural balance in the vagina was increasing. And now we know that bacteria play an important role in the enforcement of that balance. The vaginal environment can be disturbed by many causes like stress, fatigue, menstruation or having sex. Sometimes the disturbance is permanent. From research we learned that bacteria which can produce lactic acid and hydrogen peroxide, are important to restore the balance. Based on that knowledge the bacteria for Ecologic® FEMI were selected.

How long do I have to use Ecologic® FEMI?
Ecologic® FEMI can be used during a period of three months. If you still have symptoms, you should see your doctor.
